چکیده

There are three important considerations in DSS development. (1) Decision making Involves both primary and secondary processes, where secondary processes concern selecting appropriate decision making tools, approaches, and information. (2) making decisions, humans are subject to numerous cognitive limitations. (3) In order for end users develop DSSs, sophisticated, problem-oriented DSS generators must replace technically demanding DSS tools. These three considerations can be effectively addressed by including expert system components in DSSs. An expert DSS for statistical analysis Is proposed and used as an illustration. Decision making scenarios are used to indicate the potential of such a system. In particular, it appears that an expert DSS can provide support for both primary and secondary decision making and help ameliorate human cognitive limitations.

AN INTELLIGENT INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR FUZZY ADDITIVE MODELLING (HYDROLOGICAL RISK APPLICATION)

In this paper we propose and construct Fuzzy Algebraic Additive Model, for the estimation of risk in various fields of human activities or nature’s behavior. Though the proposed model is useful in a wide range of scientific fields, it was designed for to torrential risk evaluation in the area of river Evros. Clearly the model’s performance improves when the number of parameters and the actual d...

Elderly Daily Activity-Based Mood Quality Estimation Using Decision-Making Methods and Smart Facilities (Smart Home, Smart Wristband, and Smartphone)

Due to the growth of the aging phenomenon, the use of intelligent systems technology to monitor daily activities, which leads to a reduction in the costs for health care of the elderly, has received much attention. Considering that each person's daily activities are related to his/her moods, thus, the relationship can be modeled using intelligent decision-making algorithms such as machine learn...

Design Critiquing Systems Jason

Design critiquing systems are a type of intelligent user interface used to support human designers in decision making. This paper places design critics in the larger context of intelligent user interface approaches and surveys several critiquing systems. Each approach and system is evaluated with respect to a five-phase design improvement process. This paper concludes with a summary of the stat...

Intelligent Decision Support System on Flexible Learning Structure in Higher Education

Intelligent decision support system is the one that behaves like a human consultant; has the ability to learn, can support decision makers by gathering evidence, analyze it, identify and diagnose problems, propose possible courses of action and evaluate the proposed actions. The aim of the Artificially Intelligent Techniques embedded in a decision support system enables these tasks to be perfor...

Using Agents and XML for Knowledge Representation and Exchange: An Intelligent Distributed Decision Support Architecture (IDDSA)

This paper presents an Intelligent Distributed Decision Support Architecture (IDDSA) for knowledge management by Intelligent Agents. This research contributes to existing knowledge through the development of a methodology to represent modular, rule-based knowledge using XML Schema and decision trees and to share this knowledge through intelligent agent architectures. We show the application of ...
